Helena and I have so appreciated Dorothy's keeping in touch with us over the years. I will miss the news from Eastbourne and Coventry and the anecdotes of King's High. Were my Mother able, she would also send her warmest wishes and appreciation. With many, many thanks for Dorothy's consistent presence over the years and the warmth of her contact with us.

Thoughts
As well as John you always welcomed me with a smile when arriving in Eastbourne to visit. I remember arriving one morning after working a night shift to visit Helen before we lived together. After sleeping most of the morning and into the afternoon I remember you bringing your speciality scrambled egg on toast to my bedroom door this is something that happened a few times over the next few years. So many stories from our visits to Eastbourne going over the harbour for meals and drinks which have been such a big part of my life.
RIP Dorothy
I hope they have a piano up in heaven for you to play and the angels can enjoy your music like we have

So sad that you had to leave us Dorothy but i’ll always hold fond memories of being in your lovely company.. I remember how kind and welcoming you always were to me as a teenager and hearing your beautiful piano playing was always such a pleasure. A softly spoken, beautiful and gentle lady, that’s how I’ll always remember you. ♥️
